Gen is a 5-year-old corgi. Like most dogs of his breed, he’s active, playful, and smart. But this pet isn’t just any pet, dog Gen has more facial expressions than many actors out there and has captured hearts around the world.

Sadly, the little dog won’t have a long life. Gen was born with a hereditary chronic renal failure, and he faces challenges such as frequent urination, being constantly thirsty, suffering from anemia, and other health issues.
According to his owner on the Bored Panda website, the pet undergoes dialysis three times a week and gets injections and medication.
Despite the challenges, the animal leads a happy life.
